  • Collaborating with partners in creative and conscientious program planning, design, and execution. Utilizing strategic thinking and ongoing management to ensure outlined objectives and goals.
  • Participant in developing and communicating organization-wide best practices for: event and program planning, Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), developmental evaluation, grants and contracts management, and deep community engagement.
  • Championing community and relationship-based approaches to programming that are inclusionary of a multiplicity of voices and experiences.
  • Project Highlights:

o    Why Treaties Matter: Life in the Dakota and Ojibwe Nations. In partnership with the Minnesota Indian Affairs council. Managed scheduling, shipping, and set-up logistics of a traveling exhibit and partnered with local organizations on events and programming.

o    Reading Together Project.In partnership with the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans. Oversaw the creation and publication of 4 culturally-relevant children’s book titles. Designed and executed a plan for distribution of over 9,000 books across the state. Planned, promoted, and coordinated details for a book launch attended by over 150 community members. Authored educator guides for the titles in collaboration with educators and other community experts.

o    Toward a More Perfect Union: Talking About the Constitution. In partnership with Twin Cities Public Television (tpt). Using the documentary Constitution USA as inspiration, designed and executed a program for communities to engage in civil conversations around the US Constitution.

o    Online course development. Utilize rich resources to develop online courses for educators.

  • Read and scored student basic standard essay tests from around the US. Consulted with rubrics and graded on various domains such as spelling/grammar conventions and content.

  • Using English and Mandarin Chinese, served as first point of contact for families, teachers, students, and community.
  • Managed admissions, enrollment, and all student records. Major participant of re-design and codification of enrollment procedures.
  • Planned, promoted, organized, and executed large scale community and school events such as Chinese New Year Celebration, School Conferences, Kindergarten Orientation, and Art-a-Whirl.
